Summer 2008
Hello Friends!
We’re well into our peak season here at Lost Lake Lodge and couldn’t
be more excited. July is always a fun combination of sun, water, and
relaxation. Our guests have been enjoying the hot days and cool
nights by taking full advantage of the private beach during the day
and the wood burning fireplaces in the cabins at night.
We had a wonderful time on the Fourth of July as we celebrated the
holiday with our annual “All American Backyard BBQ”! This is the one
evening in the summer that the Chefs leave the kitchen and fire up
the charcoal grills. Dinner was delicious with grilled salmon,
steaks, chicken, and of course hamburgers and hotdogs! Eating on the
patio and front lawn is always a treat with the beautiful sunsets
over the Narrows of Gull Lake! Our guests finished off the evening
eating slices of homemade apple pie, the kids ran around with
sparklers, and a few of our guests made it to the bonfire to roast
marshmallows. After a day full of games, races and so much wonderful
food, we’re sure all the kids slept very well!
July is going by fast and so are our last availabilities for the
summer. We have a few remaining dates through the end of August and
are offering our Labor Day
Family Package again this year. This discounted package
includes three or four nights lodging for two adults and two
children, all of our resort amenities, a full lodge breakfast each
morning, and our four-course dinner each evening. We also have our
Romantic packages and Wine Lover’s Weekends to look forward to this
